Check timing · Through the end of October 2026, estimated
Day and overnight work brings lane closures and extra truck traffic. Southbound travel is reduced to one lane; northbound traffic shifts to the west side.
Lane closures, deliveries and staging can affect nearby streets. Expect pedestrian detours and parking restrictions; buses are diverted from 4th Avenue to 6th Avenue.

A little about Kamloops
Kamloops sits where the North and South Thompson rivers meet in British Columbia’s Thompson Valley. Riverside Park connects downtown with the waterfront, while the Rivers Trail links riverbanks and neighbourhoods—a good starting point for exploring the city beyond these camera views. Feed additions, repairs and removals will appear after the first weekly review.
Weekly checks review camera sources and look for new public feeds. Temporary outages stay listed for retry; confirmed retirements or repeated, corroborated failures can be removed. These dated review notes are separate from the live snapshot checks.
How current are the images?
DriveBC supplies periodic snapshots. The site checks for updates every two minutes while this page is visible and auto refresh is enabled, or every ten minutes in Data saver mode. A check does not mean the camera has taken a new image. Look at the timestamp printed on the image; source-update times are displayed in Kamloops local time. Older images are flagged when source metadata is available.
Can I watch every camera on this page?
Every listed camera has an embedded player or image. Tap Watch camera to load its player, then use the player’s Play control if needed. Enlarge opens a bigger view on this page. Video players load when you choose them and are not restarted by the automatic snapshot refresh. Source links are provided separately for credit.
Can I watch several cameras together?
Choose Monitor at the top of the page, select the views you want, then choose Start monitor. Your selected views fill the browser window together, and Fullscreen can hide the browser interface when supported. Controls hide while you watch; move your mouse or tap the top edge to bring them back. You can keep the whole picture or fill the tiles, show optional camera names, and change your selection at any time. Your choices are saved in this browser when storage is available.
City videos start muted. Local webcam publishers may keep their own Play buttons, controls, or logos. Highway and scenic snapshots continue refreshing as images.
Which cameras are included?
This directory lists eight DriveBC views, 16 City/provider traffic-camera entries, and seven local webcam views. The City/provider count includes the additional 1st Avenue listing; that view may overlap another camera. Four DriveBC views are at Halston in the neighbouring Tk’emlúps area; open Filters and uncheck “Include Halston / Tk’emlúps” for the other listings. Camera availability and public listings can change, and the directory cannot guarantee every operating public webcam has been found.
The additional 1st Avenue player is included in the City traffic section, so it can also be watched here. These counts describe listed views, not a verified number of unique physical cameras.

Where are my favourites saved?
Your favourites are saved in this browser on this device. Use Filters → Back up or restore settings to export a file and import it on another device. They do not automatically sync across devices. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them. Camera images and embedded video load directly from their publishers. Video players only load after you choose a camera; your page stays here.
